Ann Arbor Real Estate Eyesore Coming Down

The old Ramada Inn building on Jackson Rd. Is being taken down. Good
news for the neighborhood

This is a big job and I saw three different excavators over there
getting the job started including a big Link Belt LS-5000.

Unfortunately I couldn't get a decent picture of that because of the
fence.

Here is a little Cat unit

Top of The Park in Ann Arbor

ToTP is an annual thing in Ann Arbor where there are a bunch of free
evening concerts and performances and it is a lot of fun.

This is the first night this year and a band called NoMo is playing a
great set.

Wiring you don't want to see in your garage

I was at a home this week that had this mess in the garage.

Is this how you want your wiring to look?

Anybody smart enough to do this and get the switches and outlets to
work should also be smart enough to know not to leave it like this.

Why don't listing agents pay attention to radon testing?

I'm out at an Ann Arbor home inspection again today and we arrived to
find the windows partially open. This is a bit frustrating because
radon tests require the home to be closed up for at least 12 hours
before the radon data is valid.

So, since the seller wasn't asked by the listing to close up the
windows we have to wait an additional 12 hours.

I'd guess that the listing agent doesn't know much about representing
buyers or he would have told the sellers.

Typical.

The right way to cover an air conditioner for the winter

I'm out at a home inspection again today and I ran across this. Many
times people put plastic covers on air conditioners. That can be bad.
Here is the right way to cover an air conditioner for the winter.

The signs of spring in Canton

The real estate market is still in the "winter" but at least the
landscaping is showing signs of spring.
